My name is Robin, I am from Victoria BC Canada. I just purchased a 58 D300,and will be looking for fenders and windshield. also maybe some info on the best swap for the axels to get a more common bolt pattern, the rear should be easy but I am thinking of keeping a straight axel in the front, or would it be best just to swap out the whole frame? I also have a 2013 ram 1500 regular cab short box.

Welcome nice 58! fenders are not to bad to find for yours since they used them from 1958-60 on the trucks and 58-66 on the Panels so should be plenty of trucks out there to cannibalize from. for other parts like the windshield any glass company should stock them, they are still reproduced. here is a list below of parts for these I made. For the frame the best swap to go with would be a early dakota frame swap, its almost the exact width and with the 5 lug pattern makes it the same as the factory halftone lugs if you want to make it a hotrod or you could go dakota 4x4…though i have never seen that done and would be cool. hope this helps.

Hi Robin,

I was wondering what wheels you currently have on the D-300?

Thanks!
