New member in the UK with a B3B 108.
Hi, just found your forum and thought I would add myself and my truck. I don't know where it is going yet, full restoration or run it as it is. Probably the latter due to funds.
I have completely rewired it so far. The old wiring had the original insulation falling off as I looked at it. I have converted all the lights to LED and added an alternator that looks like the original dynamo. It also now 12v negative earth.
The ignition has been converted to electronics inside the original distributor with a Pertonix kit and coil.
I have completely renewed the fuel tank and fuel line to the pump on the original engine.

My plans for the truck are -get it moving and drive it. After that things can be tidies and rebuilt bit by bit as finances allow. Currently dismantling the bed. It need some work on the fenders and the side and the back- OK all of it. The wood when I bought it was rotten ply wood. That is now a pile underneath it. Most of he bolts need replacing as an angle grinder was needed to get them out of the way.
I have replaced the fuel tank and fuel pipe to the pump on the engine. The engine runs fine. I did take the head off and have it skimmed. As I said previously the ignition system has been rebuilt with a Pertonix conversion and coil. The engine fires up immediately it turns over. It now has new 30wt oil in it. The filter I bought did not fit, and I still have to investigate what will fit in the canister.
The new gauges are brilliant. GPS speedo and all sorts of alarms that are programmable. They are mounted in a simulated carbon fiber plate that I made to fit the existing holes with a little modification. They duplicate the originals except the ammeter is now a volt meter, and he speedo has a tacho built into it.
