I'm getting ready to sell a "Pic-up Poncho" for Job Rated trucks!

Hi, this is Kyle in Sacramento. I'm not a truck geek although I do appreciate any restored classic vehicle. Anyway, I was doing some work and came across an old what I thought was a canvas convertible top for a Studebaker. It turned out to be a "Pic-up Poncho" for Dodge Job Rated trucks! In all my research I only heard of one other person who was able to find one (frame only), and a copy of the original brochure advertising them. for its age the frame is in pretty good condition but the super dusty canvas was very ripped and brittle. I was able to piece the canvas back together like a puzzle on my lawn and gently rinse some of the dirt off. I'm going to try to duct tape one side of it to hold it together so when someone buys it they use it as a template.

I tried to attach the brochure pdf but it is too large for the forum. If you do a google search for Pic-Up Poncho you can find it pretty easily. My plan is to put it on eBay in the next few days. Hoping to get a couple grand because of its rarity.

Thats pretty cool, dont see those very often. too bad it doesnt fit my Dodge. Heres some of the pictures for the records for after the auctions ends.
