New Guy from Central New York

Hello to all. I'm retired and have always loved Mopars - first car was a '47 Dodge, followed by '57 Desoto, '60 Plymouth, '70 Duster 340, 73 Dodge Van (full disco version).

Current truck is a second series 1955 half-ton (Looks same as a '56 with wraparound windshield). Truck has the original 259 ci V-8, 3 on the tree, and 4:10 gears. I'm the 4th owner, truck was originally from Oklahoma so the body was in great shape. So far I have rebuilt: starter, generator, carburetor, transmission, voltage regulator, differential seals, passenger side floor boards and rear brakes. Converted to front disc brakes using the kit from Rustyhope, new brake lines, master cyl, rear wheel cyls & shoes. New bed wood, home made rewiring and Juliano's seat belts.
