Dave your cool. i didn't take it in a negative wayDave Wilkes wrote:Sorry, that last statement of mine did sound a bit down. There are other ways as you state. I have seen a slot cut in the bottom of the window hole and the window slid down into it to the correct height and supported with stops. Could be done with the rubber hiding the modification.
There are always ways around things, its just a matter of "do we want to go there"
I'm sure it will look great when done and I am looking forward to updates.
I can sound gloomy sometimes... just ignore me, it works for my wife.

Re: RAPID'S 58 BIG WINDOW
I was just looking at your pics again, what a nice shop!!! Even a spray booth and paint racks, it must be a business to be that well equiped. I'm jealous.... very jealous. I call my work space " brain surgery in a sewer" It is a barn like tire shop that was put up in the 60's out of plywood and planks found in rundown buildings. It's filthy, dusty, drafty and has extemely poor lighting. I can only work inside to about -5 F. That is all my 50,000 BTU heater can handle with sawdust insulation.
But enough moaning. You will be able to put out some nice work in that shop and I'm looking forward to seeing it. If the lumps in my paint are too much I will tell people Im going for that golf ball effect that lessens wind resistance LOL
