Hi from Othello, Washington
Hi. I have a 1953 Dodge truck that I have on a 1991 Dakota chassis with a 68 318 and a 904 trans. I have chopped the top, modified the front of the bed to fit the curve of the cab and taken the front bed panel and made it into a tailgate. It has 1950 doors on it and I also put the Dakota firewall and front floor in it. It has a Chevy tilt column shortened 17 inches and I grafted the Dakota shaft, shift linkage and outer tube on the end so it all matches up with the rack and pinion. I put a 1949 Plymouth dash in it and then made a 1950 Plymouth steering wheel an inch and a half smaller to fit my belly better. It is still in process, but hope to drive it next summer. Gotta figure out how to put pictures on this site.
