Sorry I have posted in a while, I did end up finishing the truck and the entire build is over at the HAMB. Here are some pictures. [img][/img]

The truck turned out well. I drove it about 10 miles today.

it certainly did. I learned a lot in doing it which was in part the reason I decided to do it. I was able to do/try things I was never had before.

Re: 52 Dodge B3B Hemi Project
With this truck, not sure. I have moved back to my Cuda for the most part. I do need to change oil in the truck and fix a leak on the oil filter adapter. I might have to add air bags to the front at some point but we will see.
I would like to do another truck, bigger this time but to be honest I have the Cuda as well as my Roadrunner and then I want to revisit my 70 Challenger, so the likelihood of doing another one is somewhat remote.

Re: 52 Dodge B3B Hemi Project
Yes it is, the nice thing it is a hobby so I can do whatever strikes me. That said though, I don't like having a pile of unfinished projects that are all half started. I took a hiatus from my Cuda to do the 52 only because I thought it would be relatively quick (didn't anticipate 1.5 years); however it did allow me to grow/learn as I was able to do/learn things with the truck that will directly help me on the car without worry. In the middle of the doing the 52, I got distracted with a 98 Dodge 3500 which didn't end all that well but did allow me to purchase a 2014 2500, so that got sorted out.
I am not 100% finished on the 52, I need to sort out some small issues and I still need to either figure out the left leaning issue or bag it and overcome the problem that way. The first thing I want to do is change the wheels/tires, I have an unfounded suspicion that they are somehow contributing to the leaning issue. I am sure I am imagining it, but I have never trusted them as they were on the truck when I got and the rims are severely rusty, thus the tires are not seating properly. I cannot imagine that this is contributing significantly to the leaning issue and I did swap sides w/o a result, but I just don't trust them. Eventually I will put something else on and see if that changes anything. If no, then I will return to believing that the driver's side coil spring is weaker than the passenger side and bag it.

Re: 52 Dodge B3B Hemi Project
the real question at this point is whether or not I need to put a 4 link into it? I don't really want to but I am not sure how well a airbag system will work without it.

I am not changing out the complete rear suspension, I just want to sort it all out and make sure everything is working correctly.

Re: 52 Dodge B3B Hemi Project
I am going to try and sort out what I have now, I have too many other projects to get wrapped up into this one more. There are some small issues I need to address with this one which I will work on (probably today), I am going to look at changing out the wheels and tires as well.

Not sure just yet, I bought slots for it but the rear are too wide. I have some wheels on my 70 RR which aren't what I would like but not terrible.

Re: 52 Dodge B3B Hemi Project
Well I didn't change out the wheels and tires, instead I adjusted the kick down and choke, fixed one of the emblems, sorted out the seat cover, made a replacement door limiter and installed both of them (old one and new one), and figured out how to get the stereo out of demo mode . I did take it for a test drive and called it a day. I was working on a fiberglass hood on another project at the same time so it was little things that got done. there are still some more (as always) but it is coming a long.
