1953 Dodge custom build.

Hi. I have been building a 53 Dodge truck for the last few years (off and on), back on it again now, cab is off, bed is apart, finish bodywork underway. Here is a pic of it before I blew it apart to get the bodywork done.    

and a pic of the motor.

custom made bed front. I used a piece from another cab. It matches the curve of the rear of the cab.

good looking truck bud... sittin' low, did you put baggs under it? is that a dakota frame?

Hi Rich, thanks. The truck sits on a 91 Dakota frame, it is not bagged, it has full suspension travel at that height. I put the Dakota firewall and front floor in the 53 and channeled the body over the frame.

here are some shots of the fenders, fronts are done, rears are in process. the left rear is almost finished, the right rear is next.
