THAT is quite the build. Nice work! Locally there was a Viper motor/trans that came up for sale for $5000, seemed like a great deal. But sadly I already put that into the 340 I built for the Fargo. For $5000 I'm thinking there must have been issues although none were mentioned in the add. I'm kinda kicking myself for not buying it now if it really was a good runner.

thanks i had a 58 pick up i put on a 68 power wagon chassis years ago i took a 340 that ran 11's in the quarter in my road runner and put it in the 58. with all that iron two axles and a transfer case, it just didn't seem like the same motor.

motor mounts were made out of flat stock and tubing. and then the motor was place into position
