Dont do it! I tried it and it was a nightmare. Im glad I backed out when i did and sold the front end. plus every person i read on all the forums regretted doing it. Its ugly, and steers like crap. and you have to cut and move the frame over to accommodate the Huge volare steering box. heres some pictures of my 57(same frame) with a volare under it for reference. Im going to do a Dakota Frame swap much better upgrade, gives you Small block mounts, the early ones were 5x4.5 bolt pattern so you can reuse your 56s wheels. and there is a much larger aftermarket for Dakotas then Volares. Also check out this guys Videos on Youtube there he documents the Dakota swap, does a good job at it but he's still going at it so its not done yet.>
